Flavia Fabiana
Lives and works in Araçatuba, São Paulo, Brazil.
Flavia Fabiana’s work deals, above all, with an idea of memory and relics. Through an inventory of locks of hair, which she organizes daily, the artist creates for us a narrative about people who have passed through her life and who remain as memories.
Locks of hair glued on cotton paper and postcards with stories about hair.
In this work thirty-nine locks of hair that were donated (on different dates) by friends of the artist are gathered. Those locks are installed between postcards in which the spectator can read some narratives about hair. .
